I was going to buy the domain name liberalheartsmajor.com, but then decided I could spend $10 on something else. Probably food. (This is something you'll be hearing a lot from me. Or have already heard many times, if you know me...)

In the midst of finding government agency internships to apply for, pretty pictures to stick on the walls of my apartment room, cruising through new fashion blogs and ignoring the fact that I have a lot of work to do, I decided to--da na na!--start a blog. Or, well, a "real" blog, whatever that means.

I am addicted to blogs: fashion, lifestyle, travel and food blogs especially. I like clothes and cute things and good photography and traveling and FOOD and so I don't think this blog will be one thing, it will be many things. But this is just the first post, so I'm just dithering around trying to fill white space to make it look like I know what I'm doing. In fact, before this I looked up the First Post of my favorite blogs. No one said anything like "THIS IS MY FIRST POST, YAY!" They just dove right into blogging.

So this is my first post, yay!

And I will try harder for the second post.
